Coastal Athletics is a full indoor/outdoor lacrosse training facility. We have skilled & experienced staff that are committed to providing exceptional training in all facets of the game in a positive yet challenging environment. Our facility includes a 60yd x 60yd lacrosse field outside.
Also, Coastal Athletics offers a six-week Strength and Conditioning class several times during the year.
Tony Mangili grew up in Durham, North Carolina where he started his lacrosse career his freshman year at C.E. Jordan High School. He was a three year starter on varsity and All-Conference his senior year along with being runner-up for Conference Player of the Year. Tony was also on the varsity football team for two years and captain of both football and lacrosse his senior year. He played on the FCA - North Carolina travel team and once he graduated high school he began to coach the younger FCA teams for the next three summers. After high school Tony played at Lenoir-Rhyne University where he started every game freshman year under Head Coach Greg Paradine (former UNC All-American and Assistant Lacrosse Coach). After two seasons at LR, he decided to focus on academics and transferred to the University of North Carolina Wilmington where he is has become a leader on the club lacrosse team. Tony will be graduating from UNCW in December 2014 with a Degree in Communication Studies. Tony is very excited about the growth of lacrosse and loves seeing younger athletes with the passion to get better by focusing on their fundamentals.
Vance Schindler grew up in Long Island, NY and has been playing lacrosse since the age of 6. In high school, he played lacrosse and football for Westhampton Beach High School in Westhampton Beach, NY. At Westhampton he was captain of the lacrosse team, recieved All County/All Divison honors, and was part of many travel teams that played up and down the east coast. After high school, Vance elected to not take up any of his collegant offers and went on to play club lacrosse at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Vance starts at midfield and holds an officer position with the team. Vance enrolled at The University of North Carolina at Wilmington in the Fall of 2010 and is expected to Graduated in May 2014 with a Business Degree with concentrations in Marketing and International Business. Vance is eager to teach fundamentally sound lacrosse, and is passionate about the growth of the sport nationwide.
