Chance Griffin grew up in Cornelius, NC and has been playing lacrosse since the age of 7. In high school, he played lacrosse and soccer for Cannon School in Concord, NC. At Cannon he was captain of the lacrosse team, second team All-State, and was selected to play in the Charlotte Area's Queen City Top 50 all-star game. After high school Chance went on to play Division III lacrosse at Greensboro College under coach Dan Cetrone, where he played both midfield and attack. During the summers of 2007 and 2008 Chance helped coach at the Duke University Summer Lacrosse camp under coach John Danowski. In the Fall of 2008 Chance transferred to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington from where he plans to graduate in May with a Business Degree focused in Entrepreneurship and Business Development. He is currently the assistant varsity coach at New Hanover High School here in Wilmington. Chance is eager to teach fundamentally sound lacrosse, and is passionate about the growth of the sport nationwide.
